The Artist
Trained on heroes, turtles, monsters and kaiju. Raised on newsprint.
Franck Uzan is a French-Israeli comic artist based in Israel. He grew up with comics, monsters and kaiju, and still loves the larger-than-life worlds that first pulled him in. Today he creates cover art across superhero, kaiju and pulp horror titles, shaped by American comics, manga and the bold energy of the 1990s.
His covers pair expressive linework and high-contrast color with clear, poster-like storytelling: one dramatic moment, drawn big enough to catch your eye on a crowded shelf.
He is equally at home drawing a street-level hero or painting a giant kaiju tearing through a skyline. Whatever the subject, Franck builds each image around energy, silhouette and impact.

Franck has created exclusive variant covers for Image Comics, IDW Publishing, BOOM! Studios, Dynamite, Mad Cave, Bad Idea and independent publishers, including projects connected with Capcom, VIZ and Toho.
